Printers are great machines for any business or personal printing need. However, this does not mean that you will not experience problems with them. Let us take the HP laser printer as an example here.
Owning an HP laser printer with the right set of HP toners simply means that you can have those perfect prints whenever you need them. Still, there are moments when your HP machine suddenly acts like a robot that lost its energy and needs to be reset. Well, even when resetting your printer can be the last option for you, you do not have to worry since here are the right tips in troubleshooting that problem.
The common way to reset your HP laser printer is to do the cold resetting. However, you have to keep in mind that when you do this, all of your printer’s settings will be return to the default type. So, if you have a memory card inserted on your printing machine, it would be best for you to remove it first.
To reset your HP laser printer, turn it off then press the “Go” button on its control panel for at least 20 seconds while turning on your printer. This will allow your printer to reset its NVRAM.
However, keep in mind that not all HP laser printers have the same ways of resetting. It would still be best to always read your manual to know more about your machine and how you can do certain tasks on it.
